This day is very difficult for me. I have TONS of favorite movies...i swear at one time or another every movie is my "favorite". In order to cover my bases, I am going to do this by genre:
Animated: How to Train Your Dragon

Comedy: This is the hardest one...i honestly cannot say one comedy that is better than another. Anything with Jonah Hill, Russell Brand, or Adam Sandler wins.
